Media Training for Senior Leaders, Policymakers and CEOs
Founded by a former BBC journalist, Flame PR has unique insight into the workings of media interviews, and how best to prepare key spokespeople. Our coaching focuses on handling difficult interviewer questions, staying on message, responding to attacks when in crisis, and how to use tone and body language to deliver key messages. Through mock interviews and 1:1 feedback sessions, we give spokespeople the tools they need to feel confident, take control of their voice, and drive their agenda. Ongoing coaching programmes are also available, to help senior leaders evaluate and assess their performance against agreed objectives, messages and storytelling.
Digital and Social Engagement
Our digital division provides expert training to ensure that clients are digitally informed, and can use social media channels in the right way. We take clients through scenario exercises, analysing responses and outcomes, to provide in-depth critique on how social media needs to be handled in different situations – from announcing new policies, to moments of crisis. Our programme is designed to make internal teams understand the reach and impact of social channels, and how to avoid associated risks.
Digital and Stakeholder Management
In tandem with our digital and social engagement strategy training, Flame provides support with building codes of conduct and rules of engagement regarding how social should be used as part of a marketing or PR initiative. Our training provides good governance practices and teaches internal teams how to differentiate between their public and private online presence, and the importance of maintaining that distinction. We empower clients to take control of their online and offline presence, by developing effective processes and creating structured chains of communication.
Evaluating and Monitoring Success
We employ measurement mechanisms that continually monitor the success of our training. Through intelligence gathering, we are able to see the reach of client narratives and how people are reacting to the agreed messaging. This allows us to know what’s working and where we may need to evolve strategies and provide more training for key spokespeople.
