We are excited to announce that Akadeum Life Sciences, market leaders in buoyancy-based cell separation, have chosen Flame PR to be their US media relations partner. Flame PR will work with Akadeum to raise awareness of their unique microbubble flotation technology, and how it is set to change the way cancer is diagnosed and treated.
The Michigan-based biotechnology company has broken new ground in cell separation, isolation and expansion technology in recent years, securing $26M in funding so far, and being named in Fast Company’s top 10 most innovative biotechnology companies of 2023.
Flame PR will work hand-in-hand with Akadeum to create dynamic and creative campaigns intended to increase the scientific and financial momentum the life sciences company has developed. The news comes at an exciting moment for Akadeum’s growth strategy as they eye a Series C funding round and clinical trials next year.
Both Flame PR and Akadeum’s work is underpinned by a leadership team that puts people at the heart of their operation, as Brandon McNaughton, PhD., CEO and co-founder of Akadeum comments: “Our people-first philosophy continues to be a crucial component of Akadeum’s success as we head towards Series C funding in the new year.”
Brandon adds, “Flame PR’s exceptional track record of US media relations aligns seamlessly with our vision of becoming the foremost cell separation company in America. Having Flame PR join the Akadeum family is a real boost for the team, and we believe they can take us another step towards realising our vision of accessible and efficacious treatment for patients around the world.”
Kully Dhadda, CEO and founder of Flame PR comments: “Akadeum’s microbubble technology represents the future of cell separation and cancer treatment. We are thoroughly excited to amplify Akadeum’s voice in the media, reaching the CDMOs, cell and gene therapy companies and cancer patients that need Akadeum’s groundbreaking technology the most.”
